Ta Van Village Tours

Ta Van village is home to Dzay or Giay people, it is located in the valley of Muong Hoa River, 7 kilometers from Sapa town. Travelers follow down the main road, then walking to Ta Van village or following the rice terraces' buffalo trails to trek up and down to Ta Van villages.

  • If your tour arranges for 2 days and homestay. Ta Van village is a very good place for you to stay overnight here. There are more than 20 families to set up the house to welcome travelers to stay overnight here. The Day house is very clean and constructed as a house on stilts, the house has a western bathroom, mat, mosquito nets, pillow, sheet, blanket. It is a basic amenity for stay overnight.
  • Have dinner with Dzay People, Ethnic people will make dinner or show the guest how to cook the food, finally enjoy the dinner and drink Dzay Ethnic Alcohol that makes from corn or water rice.
  • Enjoy the local beer after the hard trek in the late afternoon the local beer will sell at price - 15.000 VND / Can.
  • Enjoy the breakfast with Dzay people, after well-sleep then enjoy breakfast is cooked by Dzay, you will try something like Pancake with honey bee, chocolate, and banana and with a cup of coffee or Vietnamese tea.

Sapa

The travel distance from Hanoi to Sapa is 315 km. There is no airport nearby Sapa, so you have two options to travel between Hanoi and Sapa: taking a sleeper train or a bus.
